Good food, generous meals, and warm hospi­ta­li­ty are a natural part of Karelian heritage. Tradi­tio­nal­ly, dishes were baked in a wood-fired oven, which also warmed the home. In our cafés you can taste authen­tic Karelian pies (karja­lan­pii­rak­ka), pyörö pastries, and rye bread.
